In this guide there is a comprehensive series of instructions detailing how to successfully make a solvent cement joint. Prior to those instructions there is an explanation of the correct products and materials that must be used in this process.

POP105:
PVC PIPES IN BORE CASINGS

In this guide there are details of PVC pressure pipe use for other applications such as water bore casings. In this application, PVC pressure pipe is used to form the outside casing of a water bore drilled vertically down into the ground where the loads on the pipe are primarily external.
