Plastics Pipes in Construction Waste

NWC, Nationwide Connect Pty Ltd a family company has completed its first year of operation as a recycler of plastics pipes from construction and demolition waste. NWC has established two factories at Epping one dedicated to processing waste PVC pipes and the other Polyethylene pipes. In addition they have leased a large holding and sorting yard from which product is directed to the two factories.

Sourcing of waste pipes from construction sites continues to be part of the NWC work, but as the company becomes better known in the recycling industry more contractors are approaching NWC with pipes to recycle. Some major contractors now have regular deliveries of waste plastics pipes.

from pipe to pellets

Separate granulators have been installed for PVC and PE and product of saleable quality is produced in both factories. Vinidex continues to provide technical support for NWC. The company is well positioned to take advantage of growth in the recovery of waste pipes from construction and demolition waste.
