On 5th December, Standards Australia published its 2018 edition of AS/NZS 4130. This revision deletes the separate Series 2 gas pipes dimension Table 3, and amalgamates the Series 2 pipes into the Series 1 dimension Table 2.

This 3-year peer reviewed TEPPFA study, added to the Technical Information page, has demonstrated that provided basic conditions are met a 100-year lifetime for non-pressure sewage pipes manufactured from PE and PP can be expected.

The PIPA Chatswood office will close from mid-November 2018 and relocate to North Lakes on the northern fringe of Brisbane. PIPA has occupied its Chatswood NSW office since 2006 and the move north to Queensland is both a reflection of a change in location of personnel and an initiative to contain our association's operating expenses.
